4 cups (1L) water or broth

1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

½ tsp turmeric

1 tbsp (10g) chopped cilantro (for garnish)

1 tbsp (10g) chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté the Ingredients Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden. Stir in meat and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.

Add Vegetables and Spices Mix in tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, and turmeric. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Simmer Until Tender Pour in water or broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 45-60 minutes until meat and vegetables are tender.

Serve Hot Garnish with chopped cilantro and parsley before serving.
